New Business Development Sales Representative

BASIC FUNCTION

Primary Responsibility: The Sales Representative – New Business Development is responsible for scheduling appointments with key decision makers, identifying specific opportunities to increase market share. To maintain a quarterly contact with all existing Milner customers on added-value services and products. Implement Milner New Development Process.

Maintain/cultivate a competitive CRM

Complete calls through the service close-out report

Follow up on demos, installs and equipment exchanges

Identify/prioritize your accounts

Obtain emails

Ensure the proper handling of all appointments through the entire sales process

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree

 

 

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of two (2) to three (3) years sales experience; telemarketing experience a plus.

 

Additional skills required:

  • High level of network systems and troubleshooting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot methodically and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions, occasionally in urgent situations.
  • Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people from diverse ethnic and educational backgrounds.

 

 

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Work in areas which require attention to detail in a varied environment.
  • General office environment. May spend long hours sitting or standing.
  • Some physical effort is required which may involve bending, reaching, stretching, or similar activities as well as lifting or moving items weighing up to 60 pounds
