BASIC FUNCTION

Primary Responsibility: – Junior Account Executive is responsible for providing a training ground for junior representatives to be able to graduate and take on their own account base. While assisting the senior team (for six or more months, depending on performance) in every aspect of the partnership between Milner and our customers, junior representative will learn our products, markets, industry and the Milner sales process and skills. These individuals will be a direct point of contact for our customers and senior sales teach to assist in product and application inquiries, expediting the sales process and following through with customer requests.

WORK PERFORMED

Prepare proposals and consult on solutions.

Develop relationships with customers using database, phone calls, personal activities, events, and various other methods.

Throughout the qualification process, learn to identify the specific needs of clients, departments, and entire organizations and how Milner solutions meet those needs.

Answer phones and assist callers with their needs.

  1. Take customer orders.
  2. Visit potential clients within assigned zip code.
  3. Act resourcefully and in an innovative way to solve problems and complete tasks.

Customer service and account development.

Quote prices prepare proposals and provide information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates. Sell color imaging equipment, supplies, warranties, installation packages, customized training packages and various other equipment, supplies and services provided by Milner.

Report to management on customer relationships, pipeline, forecasts, and new prospects.

Customer prospect profile maintenance.

Participation in marketing programs and events.

Communicate constructively to management and team members on problems, ideas, or any other insight to assist in defining innovative ideas, policies, and procedures.

Perform other duties as required.
